The modern bridge engineering is marked by priority realisation of the traffic function, an application of construction with minor maintenance, a good architectural design and consideration of environmental conditions.

In this case a close cooperation with the clients as well as with experienced architects is a prerequisite for the success of the project.

The VIC Brücken und Ingenieurbau GmbH (Bridge and Civil Engineering Designs) integrates more than 30 specialized engineers and 15 technicians into one highly qualified team. This team produces a high quality and successful output by continual perfection of the planning technology and use of more effective hardware and software.

Planning services for bridge and civil engineering
structures of different size and difficulty are provided for:

• Bridges of motorways, roads, railways and footpaths with prestressed concrete-steel and steel composites, reinforced concrete and prefabricated constructions
• Noise barriers, retaining walls
• Tunnels and culverts

The scope of services include:

• Provision of consultancy services to clients both at the preparation and project realisation stages, including project management and control
• Evaluation of existing civil engineering structures
• Major bridge survey
• Checking and documentation of existing load / non-load bearing structures
• Project planning and designing of load-bearing structures throughout all phases of HOAI (official scale of fees for services by architects and engineers) from the general survey to the preparation of contract award and execution. Drawings for new structures, extensions, improvements and rehabilitations are also provided.
